Finding various sources requires specific genealogical skills, linguistic competence and, due to internationally intertwining life paths and historical circumstances (flight, expulsion, emigration, increasing mobility), a growing need for transnational research in national and international unresolved probate matters.
If you wish to commission us with finding heirs for you, we shall be at your disposal to clarify the succession, nationally or internationally. When commissioned, we will report regularly on the status of our investigations. Our work is completely free of charge for the estate administrator and the estate concerned. We negotiate our fees directly with the identified heirs and are only paid by them in accordance with the agreement to be reached. Should we not identify any heirs, we shall of course not make any claims against the estate as a result of our work. We assume the entire risk of success.

It can be unexpected and surprising for you to be found as an heir and contacted by us and to learn that you could be expecting an inheritance from a person who was previously completely unknown to you.
As a genealogical company operating throughout Europe in the field of professional heir tracing, we are commissioned by estate administrators and authorities and we also take on the task of independently seeking out public calls for heirs. Our task is to find the rightful heirs in probate matters with unknown heirs.
Our fee for heir tracing is generally a percentage of the inheritances we mediate and amounts to 25-35% of the inheritance share actually paid out. That percentage is decided by the degree of kinship and the possible need to involve partner offices abroad. We only receive our fee if an inheritance is actually distributed. This therefore excludes any financial risks for the heirs, such as over-indebtedness of the inheritance or a will that emerges.
